The city of Dallas will name an interim director in the coming days and is expected to conduct a national search to find a permanent successor.

will retire next week as director of aviation for Dallas after more than a decade in a role.

During his time leading the airports, Duebner oversaw the planning and construction of all improvements, including a $519 million terminal renovation, the construction of $230 million garage C and the recently completed $150 million reconstruction of runway 13R-31L. He has also dealt with everything from noise complaints tooperating at Love Field and leading the airport through a recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic.

. Love Field currently serves 74 cities and is scheduled to have more than 132,000 flights take off this year, according to Cirium.for Dallas, including more than $41 million in city sales and property tax revenue.
