Michael Andreacchi founded Junk King from his garage in 2005. He just sold it to a national home services company.

In 2005, Michael Andreacchi founded a small trash hauling company from his garage in San Carlos with just a truck. Junk King grew to nearly $15 million in revenue and 150 franchises nationally, catching the attention of Norwest Venture Partners, which acquired a majority stake in the company in April 2019.
