Historically, the cities of Phoenix, Glendale and Scottsdale are the epicenter for game events.

The Super Bowl has far-reaching impacts across the entire Valley, but only some Arizona cities stand to capture the most economic benefits from the game.

At the previous Arizona Super Bowl in 2015, an Arizona State University study estimated that more than 1 million people visited the Verizon Super Bowl Central in downtown Phoenix and 500,000 attended events in Scottsdale during the week.Phoenix is currently home to the state’s largest hotel with more than 1,000 rooms. The headquarters hotel for Super Bowl will also be in Phoenix, which will host numerous events leading up to the game.

While events are scheduled for both the West and East parts of the Valley as well, the WM Phoenix Open is also being hosted the same weekend in Scottsdale, a city that already stands out for its allure for visitors and is host to a number of Super Bowl-related events and parties.
