The NCAA has awarded the 2029 Women’s Final Four basketball championship to San Antonio.

San Antonio has previously hosted the Women’s Final Four in 2002, 2010 and in 2021, when the Alamo City was home to the entire 63-game NCAA Division I women’s basketball tournament, due to concerns associated with Covid-19. Well, almost the entire tournament — Austin and San Marcos hosted a handful of first-round games.

The University of Texas at San Antonio and University of the Incarnate Word will serve as host institutions for the 2029 Final Four. Dallas, Cleveland and Tampa Bay will host the event in 2023, 2024 and 2025, respectively.
