Parks have been fitted out with new equipment after listening to local feedback.

A number of playparks have been transformed with exciting new features as part of a £1.1million investment.

Work is underway and nearly completed at Campbell Street in Renfrew, Ardgryffe Park in Houston, Churchill Drive in Bishopton, Crags Road in Paisley, Elm Drive/Sycamore Avenue in Johnstone and Dunvegan Avenue in Elderslie.This is the latest phase of the investment for play parks to receive new equipment.Eleven parks have already been redeveloped, including Tinto Square in Renfrew and Ben Lawers Park in Paisley, while Roberston Park in Renfrew received a new outdoor gym.

“This investment has been significant and has meant towns and villages across Renfrewshire have seen a boost to their community facilities, with play equipment that they’ve asked for being installed into their local play parks.
