The software company said last spring that 20% of its global real estate portfolio had either been sublet or was actively being marketed for sale or sublease.

Austin-based Oracle Corp. is again seeking to shrink its Bay Area footprint.

The software giant has put a five-story, 185,700-square-foot building it owns at 5805 Owens Drive in Pleasanton up for lease, according toAvison Young’s Jamie Endres Keller, Anthony Shell and Gregg von Thaden representI've reached out to Avison Young and Oracle for comment and will update this story if I hear back.

The Owens Drive listing is just the latest Bay Area asset Oracle has sought to shed. In early 2021, about a month, the company placed about 86,000 square feet at 475 Sansome St. in San Francisco’s Financial District on the sublease market, leaving it with about 22,000 square feet in the building.
