Phoenix Children's is in a contract dispute with one of the nation's largest health insurance companies.

Earlier this year, Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare Corp. — which operates Abrazo Health in Arizona — had been in aBut that deal was hammered out before their contract was to expire in 2023, allowing Abrazo Health to remain in the Centene network, according to an Abrazo spokesman. That contract impacts 3 million Centene enrollees nationwide, including about 400,000 enrollees in Arizona.

“Our team has been negotiating in good faith to reach agreement on a fair, affordable contract. If an agreement is not reached, we are ready to help our customers find another quality, conveniently located in-network provider."
