A 37-acre mixed-use park near Power and Warner roads in Mesa, Cannon Beach will include 500,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and hotel space and a 1.8-acre surf lagoon. Before opening the park to guests, Cannon wants the two surf features, the beach grill and 50,000 square feet of retail and restaurant tenants along Power Road to all be open as guests come into Cannon Beach. Since he started developing the park, Cannon said he's added a cliff-diving lagoon to Cannon Beach.
