As more companies look for cost effective and efficient solutions, the industry is trending toward a niche in which Phoenix's BK Global is thriving.

When the department that Brian Kilcrease helmed was phased out by his employer, he knew that did not mean the need for the services he provided also ended.

BK Global provides full services as an out-of-house project management office as well as other IT-related needs of all sizes and budgets for small, medium and large Fortune 500 corporations. It averages 10-15 active national and international clients at any time, Kilcrease said. One client has a presence in every time zone around the globe with 135,000 employees across more than 1,000 locations.

Over the past two years, revenue has increased by 40%, Kilcrease said. In 2023, he expects his staff to more than double due to demand and the company is projected to increase revenue by 55%. Verbeke has tried about 20 other companies hoping to find one that also does what BK Global does, but he has not found one. Deep understanding of how the technology works and its implementation is the difference maker.

Answering a phone from nearly anywhere is a detail many take for granted. But when it comes to businesses, it’s no easy feat to ensure when a client calls the direct office line the call comes through crystal clear even though the recipient is a continent away from their office.
