Dallas-based property investor Velocis is planning a two-building industrial park in North Fort Worth.

A Dallas property investor is gearing up to build a new business park in North Fort Worth.with Japan-based Sumitomo Corp. to build new warehouse projects in Texas.The company has purchased multiple office and retail real estate buildings in Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee and Washington, D.C.The company said the venture with Sumitomo would build warehouses in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Velocis has filed plans with the state for a two-building industrial project on North Beach Street south of Interstate 820 in Fort Worth. The buildings will total more than 850,000 square feet of space and will start construction in January.The business park will open in early 2024.
