Craig Piligian, the owner of North Hollywood-based TV production company Pilgrim Media Group knows what makes a good story, and when he heard one in real life that wasn’t destined to have a happy ending, he turned to a Tinseltown classic — the Hollywood rewrite.

This year, Tom Shannon, vice president of techhnical operations for Pilgrim Media, presented their huge haul of unwrapped toys to the firefighters at Fire Station 60 at Chandler Boulevard and Tujunga Avenue in the NoHo Arts District for the LAFD’s Spark of Love Toy Drive., or drop off a new, unwrapped toy at their local Subaru dealership.
