A group of British lawmakers are calling for action to be taken against columnist Jeremy Clarkson after he wrote a “violent misogynist” opinion piece about Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex in the Sun newspaper, which was later retracted.
In a column I wrote about Meghan, I made a clumsy reference to a scene in Game of Thrones and this has gone down badly with a great many people,” Clarkson wrote. “I’m horrified to have caused so much hurt and I shall be more careful in future.” The Sun has since removed the article from its website. “In light of Jeremy Clarkson’s tweet he has asked us to take last week’s column down,” the page now reads. The Sun declined to comment further when contacted by CNN.
Shouldn’t the ultimate action include the author of the vile piece, the editor who approved the publication and the owner of the publication who has remained silent? This is not going away.

It wasn’t retracted though and he didn’t apologise. And thus far he has received no sanction. ITV are even keeping him as host of the most popular quiz show in the UK. Terrible.

How can it be retracted once it is published? It is a meaningless act - everybody has read it and / or has copies of it. A punishment of JeremyClarkson is required and his show Whowantstobeam3 boycotted.

So ITV agrees with the despicable comments by JeremyClarkson dehumanising not only MeghanMarkle but all women. Camilla had lunch with him hours before, and neither KingCharles or PrinceWilliam have condemned this either. None should be in leadership roles setting the tone.
