A Fort Lauderdale firm that bought more than 3,000 acres in southern Clay County also plans for commercial, office and industrial space.

that bought 3,300 acres in Clay County has plans for 6,000 homes at the site.site for $85 million from The Davis family and The PARC Group,A press release said this is BTI Partners' first major land purchase in Northeast Florida. The firm built the 1,584-unit Sarasota National development, the 1,140-unit Connerton West development in Tampa and the 1,779-unit Reunion Resort development in Orlando. The firm built the 641-unit Palencia Jacksonville development.

BTI Partners CEO Noah Breakstone said the site was primed for mixed-use development in a high-growth market.
