A 'heavy police presence' has been reported in the Shawlands area.

Multiple police cars have scrambled to an incident on Kilmarnock Road, in the Shawlands area of Glasgow, this afternoon.A business owner has reported a 'heavy police presence' and says a police helicopter was also at the scene but has since left.

"They are all at the north end outside the Royal Bank of Scotland. The traffic is flowing as normal and it’s been contained."Sadly, it’s the climate we live in and people are desperate.
