So to see Danila Klimovich — the Canucks’ off-the-board 2021 second round pick — rising through the ranks with this kind of talent bodes well for the Belarusian sharpshooter. Klimovich has been on a heater of late, sniping his sixth and seventh goals of the season this past week to give him 15 points in his last 17 games.

His sixth came in a 5-2 win over Calgary on Monday, with the 6-foot-2, 205-pound right-shot winger whipping a quick sharp angle wrister past a screened Wranglers goalie.
