The Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has condoled with victims of a fire outbreak, which occurred at the popular Idiseke Market, Osogbo at the weekend. He described the incident as unfortunate.

The governor through a statement signed by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, appreciated the intervention of officials of the Osun State Fire Service for preventing further spread of the inferno across the market.

He said: “I sympathise with people affected by the fire incident. It is unfortunate to experience such at this critical time of global economic crisis. I urged the people of Osun State to take precautionary measures and put in place necessary apparatus to prevent a reoccurrence.”
