Houston’s job market poised to grow in some sectors this year

Houston’s job market remains strong and is poised to grow in some sectors, including health care. That’s according to Workforce Solutions.

“Employers continue to come to us with job openings so it is a very vibrant job market right now,” said Michelle Castrow with Workforce Solutions. It’s a trend she expects will continue into 2023, even as other industries are hit with layoffs and cutbacks. “It’s about taking a look at the skills that you already have and how those can apply to new opportunities,” Castrow added.
