This marks the second acquisition Transwestern has made in the new year, and the firm already has another deal in the works.

Houston-based Transwestern Real Estate Services continued its recent efforts to expand nationally with the acquisition of MGA Inc., a commercial real estate firm in Washington, D.C.MGA’s eight brokers specialize in tenant advisory services and workplace solutions in the Mid-Atlantic region. Additionally, the firm has three professionals who focus on financial analysis and project management.

Integrating the firm's knowledge and expertise with Transwestern's global platform positions us to deliver transformative solutions to complex workplace challenges and enhance value for our clients," saidMGA was established in 2010 as a full-service tenant representation firm.

Since its 1982 inception, MBRE has provided expertise in asset and facilities management, leasing services, project management, tenant representation and investment services. Its leasing and management portfolio includes the Michigan Plaza office complex, Millennium Park and the Richard J. Daley Center.
