The Independent Electoral Commission has disqualified the Economic Freedom Fighters from participating in the upcoming by-election in Dikgatlong Municipality in the Northern Cape. The electoral commission says the party failed to meet the deadline to pay a deposit to participate in the by-election.The crucial by-election will be on February 8.Losing the by-election would force the municipality into coalition governance.
Provincial IEC Chairperson Bonolo Modise says: “The EFF had shown its intention to participate in the upcoming by-election in Dikgatlong but one of the requirements to be fulfilled to participate is to pay a deposit. According to the by-elections timetable, the date for the deposit for the payment was the 19of Decembee [2022]; obviously the EFF did not meet the date.
Brilliant!
May this be the start of many to come. I absolutely love it
Negligence
🤣🤣🤣😂🤣
The right to do fighters is to vote ANC out
If indeed it is like this, heads must roll out of the party. we must investigate if the one who is to pay deposit is bribed with a better 'promise' by the magodu.
Your summary should specify it is BECAUSE the EFF failed to meet the deadline. Not everyone will open the link to read the article so you are misleading people by omission. We have lazy citizens & people who don't apply logic so they will negatively react on your weak summary
You will never know how much your kindness, support, love and encouragement means to me thank you.❤️ Brandonkaren11 for helping me through your Bitcoin mining investment platform.
