Castles at old Burlington tourist attraction listed for $275,000

Once they finished the repairs, the couple had planned for the property’s Dunvegan Castle replica to serve as their retirement home. The replica Tower of London, meanwhile, was going to be rented for photo ops and events.

In August 2021, Bruce Richardson, right, and his now-wife Joanne bought the old Woodleigh Replicas in Burlington with plans to renovate. Today, health issues have forced the couple to sell. – Kristin GardinerRon Barrett, co-owner of Century 21 Northumberland Realty, said the amount of work that still has to go into the property means the site is “not going to be for everybody.”

Previously when Woodleigh Replicas went on the market it took several years to find a buyer. But Richardson and Joanne have put a lot of work into the property. Barrett hopes the interest shown so far bodes well for a quick sale.
