Jay Donaldson says he only received half of the shipment of watches from Switzerland that he expected to have for holiday sales.

For Irving’s Jay Donaldson, the two businesses he operates from his home are his lifeline.

He scoped out the first package of watches being delivered to his front door through his Ring security camera. The second package he was expecting never followed. The $750 figure is what an overseas shipping agent assigned as the value of his packages, Donaldson said the DHL representative told him. He said shipping agents were unaware of the value of the products in the U.S.

DHL Express Americas spokesman Robert Mintz Sr. said the company is actively trying to locate the missing package. He confirmed that Donaldson was offered the value declared at customs for his shipment.
