Indian tax authorities have raided the BBC’s offices in New Delhi and Mumbai, weeks after the country banned a documentary from the broadcaster that was critical of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s alleged role in deadly riots more than 20 years ago

Indian tax authorities raided the BBC’s offices in New Delhi and Mumbai on Tuesday, weeks after the country banned a documentary from the British broadcaster that was critical of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s alleged role in deadly riots more than 20 years ago. BBC News reported on television that people had not been allowed to enter or leave the offices.

The raids come after the Indian government said it used “emergency powers” to block the documentary from airing in the country, adding that both YouTube and Twitter complied with the order. The two-part documentary “India: The Modi Question” criticized Modi, who was the chief minister of the western state of Gujarat in 2002 when riots broke out between the state’s majority Hindus and minority Muslims. This is a developing story.

Else all Indians have been fed up with BBC's Anti India& Anti Hindu propaganda media articles where we can clearly see the kind of hatred you ancestors had against India during colonization.

Same British people & it's deep state were responsible for dividing United India based on Religion into India & Pakistan by inflicting Hate amongst Hindus & Muslims, still the objectives are same. british were worst than Hitler during their colonization.

BBC is still playing a key role in dividing India & it's harmonious society made up of Hindus & Muslims. their propaganda media stories are directly responsible for Anti India & Anti Hindu hatred still popular amongst British people speically Muslims.

so what's wrong with this? if you are fair then prove it in front of Income tax agencies, challenge them in front of courts. Any media agency is not above rule of law. Don't consider news agencies as the dictators.

Whoa! Banning & censoring political opponents? Outrageous, Right? 🙄CNN netflix PrimeVideo MSNBC

BBC is not bigger than Indian laws, they should comply with Indian laws. If they are not corrupted then there is no need to worry.
