I think the statement is a bit backwards... I think the government's efforts to fight crime is hampered by their complete lack of political will to establish a police force the public can have confidence in....
Don't expect assistance from the public. The Hatmans blue uniforms protect drug lords and lately it has been proven that they are just as involved in crime as the criminals. We have no confidence in them especially while the incompetent Mr Cele is in charge.
