Defense stocks have beaten all comers over the past year, and as things get worse in the world, the outlook for these stocks can only get better.

Chasing options that expire in a day, gambling on AI-related and beaten-down tech stocks, and betting that inflation will get back to normal faster than could be expected.

That’s all part of a “silly game” investors have been playing this year, says Peter Garnry, Saxo Bank’s chief equity strategist, as they ignore looming geopolitical risks and dismiss the stocks that could protect them.
