Customers who use 100 terms a month will save $3 more per bill, in addition to last month's $15 per bill savings.

The new rates will be effective March 1.

Residential customers who use 100 therms per month will have a monthly winter gas bill of about $113, or $3 less than it is now, the company said. It said the gas supply rate will go down by 3 cents per therm to approximately 47 cents per therm, resulting in a 2.6% annual bill reduction.February rate cut

that meant a decrease of $15 a month for customers who use 100 therms per month, or $30 per month for those who use 200 therms per month, the company said. JCP&L said it had no plans for rate cuts at this time, while Elizabethtown Gas and South Jersey Gas didn’t immediately respond to inquiries.
