The National Labor Relations Board this week put employers on notice that they can no longer silence laid-off employees in two very specific ways that the board says violates employees’ rights

Staying quiet is often one of them. But the National Labor Relations Board this week put employers on notice that they can no longer silence laid-off employees in two very specific ways that the board says violates employees’ rights under sections 7 and 8 of the National Labor Relations Act. Employers can no longer include a broadly written confidentiality clause that requires you to keep mum about the terms of your severance agreement.

The ruling is a reversal of what the Trump-era NLRB members had decided in a prior case were lawful restrictions on employees as a condition of receiving severance. With the exception of railroads and airlines, US business employers are subject to the NLRB’s authority. While the labor board’s ruling this week could be appealed, the ruling is effective immediately.

Joe, if you would have minded your own business Ukraine would have been taken over quickly. Because you’ve meddled Ukraine has been decimated and we are now broke. Our money is not your piggy bank! The Congress and Senate need to cut you off! The US comes first you old fool!

Now that we’re re writing some books and classic songs and putting warnings before plays and films to save people from being ‘upset’ could it possibly be time to look at some rap songs and associated videos to remove/change some of their ‘offensive’ content? …and if not, why not

Al Quran Surah Younus O mankind there hath come to you a direction from your Lord (i.e. the Quran, ordering all that is good and forbidding all that is evil)and a healing for the (diseases) in your hearts,- and for those who believe, a guidance and a Mercy. ﴾57﴿

Wonder if this will apply to the privately owned DaveRamsey employees?

Remember when the lame stream media criticized Trump for the turnover in his cabinet and his refusal to fill all the positions in the west wing? Is it me or is Biden’s cabinet the worst and least effective ever? Also his aides the least supportive?

Rather than focus on the inevitable obsolescence of human labor, they waste their time on meaningless regulations. It is clear that machines are superior to humans in every way

Home Depot to spend $1 billion more on hourly workers | CNN BusinessHome Depot said it will increase pay and benefits for front line hourly staff by $1 billion this year, another sign of a tighter labor market and rising wages across the US economy. This is a worthless announcement without wage disclosure. Home Depot is a massive company. Is a billion across the board enough for their full time workers to make a living wage? Anything less than that result is simply performative on corporates end. Then pass the cost on to constomers. That's awesome for all those college grads who received a major in drama..
