A class action lawsuit has been approved against Red Barn Market and a former assistant manager who filmed employees in the bathroom.

The first plaintiff, identified as J.M., was 15 when she started working at the store in 2007 and worked there until December 2012. The second plaintiff, M.F., was 17 when she started in May 2012 and worked there until May 2014. Another Red Barn employee, who is only identified by the initials C.J. in the decision, alleges that when she was opening the store on March 12, 2013, Schwabe approached her and tried to talk to her while exposing his penis.

“A male employee, A.N., described the culture at RBM as ‘locker room talk’, including ‘off-colour jokes, sexual banter, and comments about the physical appearances of female employees or women generally,'” the decision says.Sign up for our newsletter to get breaking news and daily digests sent to your email.None of the allegations contained in the class-action certification ruling have been proven in court.
