Two students are currently involved in the project, led by Dr. Yili (Kelly) Tang, with a third coming on board later in the semester.

Elumeze has prior experience with database development while Liu developed algorithms for the project, using “her extensive experience in artificial intelligence and Java programming,” according to an announcement from the U of R.

“It helps you figure out what you’re missing and teach yourself. In the end, I take great pride in seeing my code work and the robot move,” Liu said of the work in the U of R’s announcement.Article content “It can answer people’s questions.
