The three members of the legendary Practical Theater Company came back to town in December and now have a full schedule of shows at Studio5 in Evanston.

The members of the Practical Theatre Company are Dana Olsen, Paul Barrosse, Victoria Zielinski and Steve Rashid.

If you possess a sturdy memory, you should be able to raise a smile or two recalling that the Practical Theatre Company was formed by Barrosse , Zielinski and some other Northwestern University alums in 1979. You might have visited the gang’s former “homes,” the 42-seat storefront John Lennon Auditorium on Howard Street and a 150-seat space in Piper’s Alley .Its shows were not only wildly entertaining but also influential.
