“We’ve seen the impact of these markets first-hand, and while each will bring its own flavour, we’re looking to expand this night market concept to various neighbourhoods in Calgary’s inner city.” Dubbed a “modern-day market,” vendor booths will include baking, makers, food trucks, vintage finds, craft beer, distilleries, artisans and live music.
Located in the heart of Calgary’s military community, the market will occupy Parade Square, the 265,000-square-foot area historically used as a formal space for military. Now as a historical designated site, it has evolved into one of the neighbourhood’s top gathering spaces.
