In 2019 and again this past summer nearly 150 major companies called gun violence a “public health crisis”.

Americans have grown used to corporate executives treading the well-worn paths of the Northeast corridor to convene alongside elected officials in Washington, DC, and discuss geopolitics, policy and all that’s in-between. In 2017, major CEOs from across the country came together to oppose North Carolina’s transgender bathroom law. In 2019, they called abortion bans “bad for business.

They’re there to join that chorus, but they don’t want to be the only one singing. So is this what you’re hearing from top CEOs? Have they gotten tired of advocating? I just got off of a CEO call on voting rights and this morning we had a forum on sustainability – CEOs are still the most active on these fronts. It’s the same thing on immigration reform. If a CEO was working an 18 hour day on a 12 day week, they still couldn’t address all of the issues that need addressing.

I would say that BLM, Antifa, and leftist ideologies pushed by media are a public health crisis.

How come no one talks about all the killing in dem run cities try putting criminal's in jail helping people with mental health no least take gun's from the law abiding Americans ask the American Indians how that went for them and WW2 if no gun's then we would all be Germans

Because Money from people who support 2A Talks. If they go against them they lose their profit. Yes Violence is Bad. a Major issue is Mental health care that's failing multiple times that NO One Wants to Address.

I STAND WITH THE STUDENTS IN TENNESSEE!

So? companies don't set public policy it's a fact they'll say and support anything to make more sails.

You can call whatever you want a crisis. The real crisis is media choosing sides over facts. Sick of it.

Yeah they also think it's ok for children to changed thier gender

US needs more guns for more security 🥴

If we have to have insurance to drive cars we need insurance to own guns

And yet refuses to look to the damage Wokeism is doing to our children, what 24/7 discouragement aimed at black communities does to members of our black communities, and their own Inciteful language geared to incite the damaged, like they are attacked by ppl who don't agree.

Maybe CEOs shouldn't be donating to the politicians who are happy to see 40,000 Americans sacrificed each year at the altar of the cult of the gun.

Republicans have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to pass significant 'Weapons Control Legislation' ever since the NRA began lining their pockets !!!

The only public health crisis Is mental health and liberals

Why do we care what companies think? Are they not just run by people that align to whatever the government is pushing.

Mental illness is the public health crisis.

Bet you want see this on CNN. Welcome to Bidens America

Normalizing pedophilia and mental illness is normal though.

It's time for action on this critical issue. We need sensible gun control measures to prevent senseless acts of violence and protect our communities. It's encouraging to see major companies recognizing the urgency of the situation and using their platform to call for change.

Instead of hiring security my company teaches to run/hide/fight. Lol….Gun free zone so can’t carry my own security.

Starbucks is overpriced and overhyped. It would be better off, letting their managers run the store and not even have a chief operating officer. An outlandish waste of money. Just because you're in the Union does not mean you don't get fired
