About 60% of the 549 N.J. ZIP codes analyzed by Zillow could see lower home sale prices this summer.

Temperatures have already started rising, but New Jersey’s sizzling real estate prices may see a long-awaited cool down this summer for parts of the state, according to a market forecast from Zillow. Zillow’s home value forecast showed that about 60% of New Jersey ZIP codes they analyzed will see their typical home values depreciate this June.

Zillow had enough data points to calculate and forecast ZIP-code-level home values for more than half of New Jersey’s 981 ZIP codes through June 2023. New Jersey has 565 municipalities.
