Australian Financial Review Political Editor Phillip Coorey says one of the reasons the government has got “money coming out of its ears” is because it’s getting so much income tax again from a “strong” labour market.

“And they boast about their wage rises but that’s also pushing people into

higher tax brackets and that is bracket creep,” he told Sky News Australia.
