Launched in early May, the Cleveland Fresh Farmers Market will continue from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through October 28 at Roberto Clemente Park in Cleveland.

Fresh, culturally appropriate produce is especially valued in areas where healthy options are scarce. CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland Fresh Farmers Market is starting its first year in Cleveland’s Clark/ Fulton neighborhood. Launched in early May, it will continue from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through October 28 at Roberto Clemente Park, 3690 Seymour Ave., Cleveland.

“We bring vegetables, herbs, and fruits that are enjoyed by the community, which is highly populated by Latinos,” says Tanisha Velez, market manager and president of Jardin 4 Life Inc. the non-profit managing the market. She is also a board member of the non-profit Cleveland Public Market Corporation which was created to manage the West Side Market.
