Second-quarter guidance was also short of analysts' expectations.— The chip stock fell nearly 1% in extended trading. Broadcom reported a beat on the top and bottom lines for its second quarter and fiscal third-quarter revenue guidance that came in slightly ahead of Wall Street's expectations. The stock had risen 41% going into the report.
