Justify all you like, but a free market is not free when property and contract law are not sacrosanct. Banks are going to run amok bc there were no consequences for their bad behavior. This decision just paved the way for that to continue.

As for that sub-prime loan meltdown which crippled the U.S. Economy...

Banks are free to innovate what they like. Just ban any bailouts with a law. And pass a law that automatically sentences jail for CEO and Board should the bank fail.
