KUALA LUMPUR, June 13 — The government is looking into ways to reform the startup ecosystem in terms of venture capital and investments towards the advancement of these companies, said Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli.

According to Rafizi, Malaysia now offers more than a gateway for the startup ecosystem into the region as compared to its neighbouring countries. “I will be sitting down with the Ministry of Communications and Digital and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation responsible for the digital ecosystem on June 21 to get everyone on the same page and decide collectively how we are going to do this.
