Irish Association of Investment Managers said that firms might need funding as an ‘incentive' to sign up to a charter to promote women in the sector

Irish investment funds asked the government for money to help pay for gender equality training in the industry, saying that without funding companies might not have enough of an “incentive” to sign up to a state-backed charter to promote women in the sector.

The Women in Finance charter was launched in April 2022 as a joint initiative of the government and industry groups as a way of promoting gender equality in the sector.
