HONOR claims that by using custom hardware and algorithms, the C1 chip can improve call quality in weak cell reception areas and offer better Wi-Fi and Bluetooth performance when meet with interference.

Unlike a wired connection, a wireless connection is more susceptible to interference from other radio waves. This is the reason why your phone losses Wi-Fi signal when standing next to a running microwave oven. Both the microwave oven and Wi-Fi operate around the 2.4GHz frequency. Additionally, obstacles like walls can also degrade the signal quality.

Moreover, the HONOR Magic5 series also features standalone antennas for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to reduce interference between them. As a result, you get better Wi-Fi performance when there are obstructions in between. Around the back, you’ll find a primary 50MP, f/1.6 camera with optical image stabilisation and its AI-powered Falcon Capture algorithm to improve image quality when shooting fast-moving objects. Additionally, there is a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera and another 50MP periscope telephoto camera offering a 3.5x optical zoom with up to 100x digital zoom possible.
