dropped more than 4% in the extended session Wednesday after the maker of office and home furniture and furnishings reported fiscal third-quarter sales below Wall Street expectations, pinning the shortcoming on “challenging macro-economic conditions.” MillerKnoll earned $400,000, or a penny a share, in the quarter, compared with $14.4 million, or 19 cents a share, in the year-ago period. Adjusted for one-time items, the company earned 54 cents a share. Sales fell 4.4% to $984.
