The Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is part of a national alliance that wants Congress to amend the 'perimeter rule' at Reagan National Airport in Washington D.C.

More direct flights to DC from Austin, according to Rodriguez, will save time and money for their members.

"We look at this as an opportunity for accessibility and accessibility that's needed.
