I’d rather keep my info private than get paid for it. I’d rather see a constitutional amendment guaranteeing everyone’s right to privacy in a solid, loop-hole-less statement. Then tech & social media & govt will have to work around that.

DelanieRickman You get what you pay for...

People should have an option as to who, if anyone, should have access to their personal data. Furthermore, anyone who has our data should obtain our personal data prior to sharing our information.

Interesting but honestly rather unrealistic, businesses cannot provide their services without the information that is being addressed here, it would also be too costly to pay for information from 100's of millions of people. Such services include even just showing you this post.

I like that idea. When we give up our data to various companies, they should pay for the privilege of using it to make money. I hope this catches on.

Yeah Baby. THANK YOU Mr. President President Trump to CNN’s Jim Acosta: “Your question is a very political question, because you have an agenda. You’re CNN. You’re fake news.”

Yes. I agree. When we provide information we should be compensated. $$$ I am also sick of getting so much junk mail. No matter how many times I call and get my name removed from lists, I still get tons of junk mail. They should pay me for sending me junk mail. $$$$$

privacy is costly. Nothing personal should be given out for free.

I could understand it if the users of social media and other apps were paying for this service. But the people use the social media for 'free' and nothing in the life is free.

Interesting concept and I like it. Without our data most tech giants would be nothing.

OK for once I agree with California

I concur. My bank account number is...

We should be frequently reminded with all social media - WE ARE NOT THE CUSTOMERS. WE ARE THE PRODUCT. 🧐🤔🤫

Now this is something I can get down with. Facebook and google should pay us yearly
