Kota Kinabalu: SME Association of Sabah Founding President Prof Datuk Foo Ngee Kee hopes the State Government can consider developing the mobile truck businesses.

Foo, in a statement, said the food truck business model would greatly aid those SME who cannot afford to rent a shop.“Mobile trucks enable SMEs to sell their food and beverage items at different locations at different times and support carnivals and other sporting events held in areas where there are few or no shops,” he said. He said the Sabah SME Mobile Truck Association has been set up to facilitate this initiative, but they lack funding to develop this business.
