Nvidia, Novavax and AMC Entertainment are among the stocks in the spotlight.

Nvidia shares NVDA, -2.77% rose 2%, ahead of its eagerly awaited results after the close. Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest sold stock in the graphics chipmaker on Tuesday, according to a fund disclosure.

Novovax stock NVAX, +13.51% rose 3%, after surging 13% on Tuesday when it said its COVID-19 vaccine was effective against a variant responsible for most cases right now in the U.S. and Europe. United Parcel Services Inc.‘s stock UPS, -0.97% added 1% after workers at the deliveries and logistics company voted for a new contract.AMC Entertainment stock AMC, -18.27% fell 13%, after an 18% drop on Tuesday. A reverse stock split is planned on Wednesday, to be followed by the conversion of the APE preferred shares.

Shares of La-Z-Boy Inc. LZB, -2.30% fell 3% late Monday after the home-furniture maker topped Wall Street views for its fiscal first quarter but said that it expect its industry “to remain challenged.”
