Asia-Pacific stocks mostly rose Thursday, Aug. 24, with shares in Japan increasing for the fourth session and the Hong Kong market up for three consecutive days.

Of the the Hang Seng Index constituents, property managers company Country Garden Svcs 6098, +10.44% saw the largest increase Thursday, as shares jumped 10.4%. Shares of renewable energy generation firm China Resources Power 836, -1.12% and banking company Hang Seng Bank 11, -0.41% dropped 1.1% and 0.4%, respectively.
