But hows is it saving lives, improving health and reducing the cost of medication possibly in households across the land?

I saw it coming. This is/was always going to be unnecessary, government never serious about health issues, if they were, they'd ban alcohol and have a 'fat tax'. Ripple effect always leads to high unemployment.

The sugar tax has also resulted in poisonous sweeteners being added to almost all the cooldrinks now. These cause cancer, diabetes, weight gain & other health issues. Politicians are causing the exact problems they claim to fight & we must all pay into NHI while they sicken us?

Now imagine what wealth taxes and such have done to other industries .
