While working for the prestigious firm, Feinberg uncovered that the company was overcharging the U.S. Government to cover losses in other areas of its businesses.

Sarah Feinberg, 39, has been awarded $69 million after reporting her former employer for overcharging the U.S. government on contracts.

The Marine veteran was awarded the sum after using a type of lawsuit that allowed her to recover a percentage of any settlement or judgement. Feinberg told NBC that she intends to give away $12 million of the money she received from reporting the alleged offences
