The owners of two neighboring West Bagley Road businesses, engaged in a longstanding feud, threw golf balls and rocks at each other at about 8:30 a.m. Aug. 26.

BEREA, Ohio – The owners of two neighboring West Bagley Road businesses, engaged in a ongoing feud, threw golf balls and rocks at each other at about 8:30 a.m. Aug. 26.

As the Southwest Golf owner mowed his grass, he suddenly noticed golf balls hitting the ground around him. He quickly realized that the Colony Roofing owner was throwing the balls over a fence separating the two businesses. The Colony Roofing owner yelled, “I’m gonna blow your . . . head off. I got a gun.” He said he was going to sue the Southwest Golf owner, who climbed back onto his lawn tractor and drove away. The Colony Roofing owner drove away in a pickup truck.The Southwest Golf owner didn’t report the incident until about 2 p.m. that day because he and his employees were preparing the business to open.
