"Employee Whisperer" Jason Greer says wage compression is silently destroying many companies right now, and they do not even know it. Greer provides the scenario of an employee who has worked with a company for 10 years, "pouring blood, sweat and tears into it," and is capped at a certain wage rate because they have been with the company so long.
