Climate Change and Energy Minister Chris Bowen has defended his position on renewables during Question Time on Tuesday with more energy set to go into the grid than last year. “What we need is more investment in generation and dispatchable energy,” Mr Bowen said. “That’s exactly what we lacked for 10 long years.”
